Lao Deaf and Hard of Hearing Unit organized the study tour to Malaysia from 12 - 16 October 2010. There are nine members attended this study tour which include: 4 deaf members, 2 sign interpreters, 1 adviser and 2 representative from parents if deaf member.
The purpose of the trips is to gain experiences and lessons of deaf development in Malaysia.

The team visited many places such as Malaysian Federation of the Deaf (MFD), Selangor school of the deaf, Kuala Lumpur Society of the Deaf, Society of the deaf in Melaka.
The study tour would not been succeed without the support and facilitate from MFD and all staffs and affiliates
