Trip to Hinkhanna water fall on International Deaf Day 2010

On the 26 September 2010 LDDH organized the trip to Hinkhanna water fall. More than 50 deaf and hard of hearing people and staff of LDHH joined the trip.
















Friendship football match to mark the International Deaf Day celebration in Lao PDR

One of activities celebrating the International Deaf Day 2010 in Lao PDR was the friendship foot ball match. On the 24 September 2010 Lao Deaf and Hard of Hearing team was playing with Lao Press Association at Thanongad stadium. The winner of this game was the LDDH team with the score 2 - 1.

  On the 25 September 2010 was a match between LDHH and Thai Deaf Association. The game was so excited, the final result was the victory of Thai Deaf Association with the score was 10 - 7

Perfomences on International Deaf Day Celebration in Lao PDR 22 September 2010

The highlight of the shows on this year events was the 'sung'  Lao national anthem in Lao Sign Language, this was the first time for the deaf.

  The deaf school performed three shows: traditional dancing, couple dancing and telling traditional story

Activities on Internatinal Deaf Day celebration in Lao PDR 22 September 2010

The aim for this year was to have a simple celebration that the deaf and hard of hearing people would just enjoy. The activities on the 22 September 2010 included games and performances. There are four rounds of the games:
1. Deaf members from South Korea VS Lao Deaf and hard of hearing member 
2. Lao Deaf and hard of hearing member VS representative from Media 
3. Deaf children from Deaf School 
4. Deaf members and parents VS deaf children and teacher

The games was designed by the deaf members which include four stages: eating banana, using straw to carry plastic circle, carry the plastic balloon filled with water and write the sign language puzzle given on the board

Each team have to finished 6 bananas

This stage is the most difficult part
